Did Bernie Williams Retire before the 2007 season?

Question:

Answers:

What is the fastest pitch recorded in history in pro baseball?

He never came out and said he retired. He was waiting to hear from the Yankees during the season. BUT it looks like my beloved Bernie won't be coming back. BUT now with Roger back just maybe just MAYBE he'll come back.

Who do you think would buy the chicago cubs?

Bernie Williams was a good ballplayer that was not ready to announce his retirement when the team no longer needed his diminishing abilities. If he would be happy as a pinch-hitter in the National League, he could make use of his switch-hitting abilities. He does not run well enough anymore to play the OF; he has not thrown the ball well enough for several years.

Bernie Williams was a good player on some very good teams. He should seriously consider announcing his retirement if he is not interested in being a part-time player on a another team.
