Obviously not. Pedro Martinez has proven that women can participate on a similar level with men.

Do MLB teams hold open tryouts for the "common" guys?

There is an unwritten rule since World War II Ithat women do not play professional baseball only when the men go off to War. "In their own words," started the only women's professional baseball team and they came mostly from Canada and Cuba softball team and were all white. When the men came home from the war, they went back home.

Who's the best division leader, on a path to the World Series?

I don't know if there is a rule or not, but girls are talented enough to play baseball. They aren't going to be able to hit a 98 mph fastball or some sick braking ball that is going even 80 mph. There is a professional softball league for your information.

Who here thinks that bonds doesnt deserve the chance to break aarons home run record?

There's no rule against it, and if there was I'm pretty sure it would of been challenged in court by now. There just aren't many women who play baseball at a high level. Most of them play softball instead which is a different game than baseball. The skills don't really translate that well to baseball even though you might think they do. If a girl played baseball her whole life and developed the skills to make it as a pro I don't see any reason why she wouldn't be given a shot. She might never make it out of A-ball but a lot of people would kill for a shot at that. I guess to sum up, there isn't a rule against it, but its not going to happen anytime soon.

Will Twins have a successful year again?

There is no rule anywhere says a woman can't play baseball. I disagree with the comment saying women haven't tried getting into the majors. Their have been but didn't make it to the big leagues. Some has made it to A, and AA. but never to the majors
