What is that hand signs that Sammy Sosa does?
It's early, and the Orioles are getting roughed up by the AL central:1-6 on the season vs. Detroit.
0-3 vs. Minnesota.
1-2 vs. Cleveland.
No excuses for the Orioles, but that division is no joke, it is all around the most competative division in baseball IMO. The only team in that division that appears will be on the outside looking in is KC (0-3 vs O's).
I think the Orioles got some bad breaks and calls that went against them in Detroit, but ultimately they didn't cash in on clutch scoring opportunities as well as they could have.
On the otherhand the Orioles have played well within their division so far aside from Boston.
2-1 vs. Tampa Bay
2-1 vs. New York
3-0 vs. Toronto
0-2 vs. Boston
So if the Orioles have had good showing in a key division for them, their own. However it's still early into the season.
The starters are going to need to go deeper into the ballgames, and the clutch hits are going to have to come more frequently. The bullpen I feel is going enough to go toe to toe with any BP in the league so long as it doesn't become over used.
Fortunately for the Orioles hitters, the ball at Camden Yards seems to fly well during the summer humidity. Miguel Tejada in his tenure as an Oriole during the summer has hit some roket shots to left center/left feild. Aubrey Huff has also been known to launch shots out onto the right feild flagcourt in his tenture as D-Ray playing at Oriole Park.
So ultimately it well see how the Orioles hold up, I've said this before, I believe in the saying that "the baseball season is a marathon, not a sprint." All though a .500 season itself would be a huge lift for the Orioles.
Who is the most under ranked player in fantasy baseball and why?
Yes. It won't happen.Has anyone ever heard of a pitcher by the name of Red Hot Garvin?
Yes. They are bad. They don't have a shot with the talent in the rest of the division.Did A-Rod deserve that curtain call yesterday @ Yankee's Stadium?
It is a long season. They could go out and win 17 of 25, and one day you'll look at the standings and say "what's going on""Ken Griffy Jr. Autograph Card?
