He loves himself and to be the "man" in NY...wow, that would be the biggest ego massager in his career..unfortunately, I predict his annual injury will occur: the clemens groin pull. Oh, and yea, he had a low ERA in the national league, but who doesn't? When they come back to the real hitters league, their era goes up. Ask Josh Beckett. Even Bronson Arroyo acted like an ace in the nat's league. That tells ya the difference between the two leagues. Roger will not save them. The Yankees have been pitching fine as of late without Clemens. He won't be pitching a lot this year anyways.Who is the best outfielder in the mlb?
Simple answer.NO.He won't pitch for until June, which will mean that the Yankees will be even farther behind by the time he makes his first start. Plus, he won't be pitching every 5th day like a normal pitcher, or at least so he says, and that will hurt them. He might make 20 starts this season, tops, and that won't be enough for the Yanks to get past a Boston team that has multiple solid starters.
yea. he will help the rookies and until he comes back, give the yankees something to look forward too. he also he is a very good pitcher and stabilize the hurting rotation.

Clemens is coming to the yankee as the highest paid player for 2007 and his services will be limited due to his need to rest his 44 yr old body. This is clearly $$$ move. He will improve the team, but they wont catch the Bo Sox.

Alright now,,, this is how it's gonna happen. After a disasterous start to the season and especially the pitching, the Yankees are going to come back as they always do. After being ridiculed for their pitching performance and injuries I'm already seeing headlines saying, "The Yankees rotation suddenly looks formidable again." WHAT THE HELL? Just a week ago they were being cursed upon, and now all of a sudden one pitcher becomes a saviour and makes a dying rotation formidable?? But ofcourse, the Yankees will come out of their slump which they would have done anyways. They will make it to the playoffs like they do every year, and tons of credit will be given to Roger bringing the life back into the team. It will surely be a media spectacle. In October I can see them running the pre-game reel, "and just when it seemed all hope was lost, the Yankees turn around a disasterous start with the courage of one Roger Clemens" Ohhhh man I'm gonna be sick of hearing this on TV :SSSS

I honestly doubt it.The Yankees already depend on way too many overpaid old pitchers,and who knows how much longer Clemens can pitch the way he has been. Sooner or later,his age will catch up to him.It happens to everyone.Its happening to Randy Johnson,so you figure Clemens might be next.Which is fine with me,since I HATE the Yankees,and I LOVE seeing them in last place!Who do you think is the all time best MANAGER in MLB?
How could he not? Anyone see his e.r.a last year? He knows how to pitch. Not throw, pitch. It will help Andy Pettitte and the rest of the pitching staff not to mention the bullpen with rest.
