Who's pissed at Roger Clemens?

Don Mattingly. Great player for my favortie team. Could make a great case for Boggs' average, but I would take the extra power with Mattingly over Boggs.

Why are YOU a Cubs fan?

donnie baseball. He ranks in the top 10 in runs, homeruns, rbi's, doubles in yankee history. gold gloves, batting titles, mvp's. do i need to go on? great all around player. really deserves to be in the Hall. Anyone who has their number retired by the yankees need to be in the hof.

Baseball : Does the run count ?

Well, this isn't really a fair question since my favorite player is Chipper Jones. You're looking at one of the best switch hitters of all time. He's the only switch hitter to average over .300 and hit over 300 homers. He consistently does well

Is there going to be a Santana vs. Matsuzaka showdown this year?

Mattingly, without the injuries. He could hit for average, or power, was good on defense as well. Also would do whatever the team needed, like when the Yanks needed a 3rd baseman he actually played something like 6 games at 3rd, and did damn good at it for a lefty.

Should any sport's "Hall of Fame" nomination be ONLY about what happened on the playing field?

I'd probably take mattingly. I thought it was cool that Boggs's 3000th hit was a homerun. I think hes the only person to ever do that

What do you hate most about Derek Jeter?

since no one is taking boggs, i'll take him...he was one of the most consistent players in history, left it out there every single game, and was effective from the day he stepped onto a major league field for the first time until he walked away from the game...the other two are great players, but i have to take boggs here

If there is man on 1 st and 2nd and its droped thired strike can they throw to 3rd and 2nd as forces?

Donnie Baseball

What player holds the record for most games homered in a row?

I hate to say this, but, Mattingly! The yankees have always been whiners, but they spent the cash to win. Among the overpaid players he--of these three was the best, no doubt! Boggs was great, but in the clutch--Mattingly! Jones-he is a jack/o/f/f! Plays for the most hated team(I guess you can tell I am a Pirates fan)! Jones is a baby playing a mans game-does not even belong on the list with these two!

Mike Piazza the best Met ever?

Donnie, he is an all around player for everything. Very cool guy.

Has anyone heard of a Frank Thomas # 301 1992 Topps Stadium Club ERROR?!!?

Since you really didn't state "in their prime" or something similar, I would HAVE to take Chipper, since Mattingly and Boggs are waaaaaay too old to be any good now!

But in the spirit of your probable intent, I would take Boggs, simply based on his consistency at the plate AND his great fielding too.

Listen to Phillies Online?

Jones, I am a Braves fan(real one, I remember Torre being the coach, and suffered a 100 lose season) I always hated boggs and never cared for mattingly.

Who decides if a team gets a compensation draft pick for losing a free agent?

mattingly

Where did Barry Bonds hit homerun number 71?

Hands down Donnie baseball. Great leader in the club house, one of the toughest outs, great defense, and led by example. What more can you ask for?

Where is the best place to see a view of the construction of the new mets stadium Citi Field?

mattingly
