Both today and yesterday, the Florida Marlins looked really strong. Hanley Ramirez has been playing well and Miguel Cabrera has been playing extremely well. I wouldn't be surprised if Cabrera continues to be hot all year. Their pitching has been solid but don't expect that to continue.Looking for a fastpitch softball bat that isn't going to hurt my pockets!?

I would have to say the Tigers. They've got mostly the same team as last year (minus Kenny Rogers until July or so), but adding Sheffield really helped out this team. Especially since he's playing with his old manager Jim Leyland (they won the World Series together, that's always nice).Anyway, their rotation (minus Rogers now) still has some nice depth to it, and there's always Andrew Miller to look foward too when he's ready (he was drafted #6 overall). The rotation is young, durable, and can be just flat out filthy.

I would have to say a team thats got it all and that team is the Mets, when Pedro gets back look out. By the way the question was who is the best team today so you can get your 26 world series champion answer out of here.depends upon how you look it. But I'll say the best team in the weakest division (therefore the easiest road to the play-offs) is the Angels of Aneheim. They have an awesome bullpen and pretty good starting rotation as it is right now. Matthews looks like the best bang for the buck signing right now, and you know Vlad the Impaler is going to have another MVP type season.

The best MLB team is MINNESOTA TWINs today because they have fantastic batting, pitching, and even fielding they recieved a lot of individual awards last yearDetroit Tigers. No one in their lineup is a liability, they have depth at positions to prepare for injury(ex. shelton at 1st). They have a better than average rotation that can hold its own, and each starter gives them a good chance to win everytime out. Their bullpen closes games out and can hold onto leads with the best of them, though Zumaya really should be the closer over Jones I think. They also play very good defense, aside from last years pitchers falling out, but still not enough of a weakness to exploit.
