Why can't ESPN shut up about the Yankees?

Question:I'm watching the Red Sox-Yankees game, and 90% of the commentary is about the stupid Yankees! The Red Sox have the best record in baseball. Why aren't they the top story?!

Answers:

Who was the biggest one year wonder ?

You know, I really have no clue. The Yankees are below five hundred and really aren't playing that great lately. The Red Sox, like you said have the best record in baseball and are barely getting talked about. I mean you've got "Big Papi", Many Ramirez, Josh Beckett, Papelbon, and all their talking about is "The Rocket" and "A-Rod" I really wish they would start talking more about the Red Sox, I mean they deserve it a whole lot more than the Yankees do. Ever since after the World Series win in 2004 the Red Sox really haven't been the center of attention in a while. I wish the baseball announcers would start talking about them more often. Since the game is in New York, they probably have announcers that are Yankees fans, that might be the reason for all of the talk.

What year did they stop using the bull pen carts to delievery the new pitcher?

first off, ESPN cannot shut up because the yankees are doing terrible and arod draws too much attention! they need to fix the ticker, it should just show scores. who cares how the batters of the teams did? it takes up too much time. they should put playoffs first in show order. i could go on forever.

What song do they usually play at Ameriquest Field in Arlington when a player hits a homerun?

Because everyone know how good the Red Soxs are,

but

the Yankees are terrible, so and then some games they just pop out of no where

werid yankees

RedSox fans?

cuz the yankees are a better team to talk about yankees rule dont be jealous

Any Chance?

Noone can shut up about the over-paid carnival monkeys known as the Yankees.

Can the Milwakee Brewers really be the Detroit Tigers of this year?

It's because fans of teams tend to notice commentary about the other team more. Most people think Joe Buck is anti-their team, just like you think the commentary is mostly about the Yankees.

I highly doubt that 90% of the commentary is about the Yankees, but maybe most of it is because they are not having a good season and everyone likes to see a "train wreck".

BTW, I'm sure ESPN has mentioned the A-Rod elbow thing 100 times, just like they made a big thing about him hitting the ball out of Arroyo's glove. However, I'm also sure they didn't talk about Pedroia going out of the baseline last night trying to take out Jeter, just like ESPN neglected to mention Orlando Cabrera's throwing elbows in the ALCS in 2004.

Is Fenway Park rigged? (non-Yankee/Red Sox fans only)?

I listened for about 2 minutes to them doing homage to Roger Clemens tonight. He is past it boys. Move on. They sounded like little girls at a rock concert.

What place is your favorite team in ? And what place should they be in?

they are east coast bias.

If you are a St. Louis Cardinal fan...?

Probably for the same reason that you are compelled to ask a question about the Yankees

I play base ball but i stink, any pointers?

becuz the yankees r sposed 2 be this amazing team but in reality theyr all sell outs, they wear lip gloss, and theyr 9 1/2 games behind the red sox :D
