Ok first base you need to be like one large step to the right and up about 4 feet. When the ball is hit if it's not towards you you need to hustle to the base. hold your glove out if your right handed you need to have your right foot on the base so you can stretch easier. If your left handed then left foot. Don't forget to cover your base if there is someone on the bag and there is a possibility for a steal. If there's a bunt you need to go up to try to get it possibly tag the girl out when she runs to first or through it to first because the second basemen should be covering. Duck if your not the one to get it btw or your catcher may knock you out. If there's a possible play to home you need to back up your pitcher just in case. When the ball is hit your way you shouldn't go over half the way to second to get it because then nobody will more than likely be covering second. that sometimes gets confusing.Second base is a bit more confusing.. if the ball is hit in the outfield anything in leftfield or center you have to cover the bag. If its hit in right field you are the short cut. You need to go out and get in between where the ball is and the bag so either you can throw the ball to second or at least give the right fielder an idea of where to throw. For the infield you still have to cover if the ball is hit on right side of the field. On a bunt you must cover first. After every pitch you should cover second just in case of a steal. Occasionally you may have to have a run down. if that happens you pretend your throwing the ball to first and run at the runner but fake them out then throw the ball to your pitcher.
Short-stop- On bunts you cover 3rd. If the ball is hit on the right side of the field you must cover 2nd base. If it's hit in left field or center you must be the cut off... go out and be in between the bag and the ball. You back up the second basemen if someone steals... and back up the third basemen if someone leads off of third.
3rd base is about a large step to the left and 3 steps up from the base except on bunts. They pull up and Shortstop covers the bag.
Almost forgot bunting! If your right handed get into your normal batting position now without picking up your feet twist towards the pitcher and slide your hand up the handle of the bat. bend your legs and follow the ball. If it's a ball don't forget to pull back or its a strike and don't try to bunt when it's the third strike cause if you foul it of your out...

1st base you can over-run but none of the other bases you can... you should slide into home with your arms upbunting-you should go into your swinging position and then bend down and stay in that position with you bat in a horizontal position.

bunting is easy, just hold the the bat wher u usually would with one hand and slide the other one up but dont put ne fingers in front of the bat. cant tell u how to play bases bc i play left field. good luck w/ ur game!!Just wing it. And bunting is easy, when your in the batters box, pivot yourself toward the pitcher, move your hand up the barrel and try to catch the ball with your bat. Good Luck Tomorrow.
