Zimmerman and atkins?

Question:Ok so far both have sucked and I have both on my team... Im pretty sure they'll both have a torrid second half and bounce back. Zimmerman is already doing a bit better but I need to empty a spot on my roster soon. Should I wait it out until Atkins starts to hit or should I drop him and stay with Zimmerman the rest of the year?

Answers:

What is the triple crown in major league baseball?

Atkins
1. Plays in Coors
2. Great talent, slow start but will finish strong, probably not 30HR 100RBI like some think
3. Keep him to start in home games

Zimmerman
1. Last year started out slow, and finished strong
2. This year starting slow, and starting to heat up
3. Start him when Atkins is not at Coors

Of the 2 I have seen people be retarded and drop Zimmerman in leagues, Atkins people just stuff in the lineup and hopes he plays at Coors during that week's matchup. If you can, trade someone who needs a 3B for another position you might need, but other than that neither are worth dropping. Put one in your Util spot if you need to.

Do yoo think that moneyball is overrated?

Stick with Zimmerman. He's a beast. He's starting to heat up at the plate and he's got great D.

The AL owns the NL when it comes to interleauge play ?

Keep Atkins...he was one giant advantage over Zimmerman. He plays in a hitters paradise known as Coors Field, while Zimm plays in more of a pitchers park in Washington. Long term I think Zim has the greater talent, but for this year I like Atkins a lot more.

Baseball.?

You should definitely NOT drop Atkins. He will bounce back and finish with 30+ HR's and finish with 90+ RBI's.

What world series matchup do you think would get the biggest tv ratings this year?

Of the two, I would certainly say Atkins has the bigger upside. Zimmerman has never played to his scouted ability and while he could still put up some numbers, he is on the worst team in the majors... what numbers could he put up? He only has Lopez and Kearns for protection, both who strike out with record frequency. Atkins is by far the safer choice - just playing in Colorado adds like 20% to normal numbers.

Does MLB have a rule about the maximum/minimum distance from home to any outfield fence?

Haha I have excatly the same problem but I do not see any change with atkins. Zimmerman is improving and I don't see COL doing any better either. So i am looking to dump atkins or even trade, first try and trade him because he has alot of potential and was good last year, if no one bites the bait then just drop him and pick up someone from waivers thats what I am about the do.

A question about Roger Clemens.?

just have some faith in them
they just might turn out to be the story of the year
Expos didn't believe in Randy Johnson after a year and now he's gonna be a future hall of famer. i sure wish they kept him for longer

I will not be happy when Bonds breaks record. How about you?

i agree with ajn
atkins has "home field advantage" playin at coors. hes got a great eye for the ball. nationals cant seem to get out of their own way. so no one can cover zimmi in the line up.

MLB no hitters?

Rough start for Atkins but he will come around. Zimmerman is a good ball player but Atkins plays in a better park for hitters. Atkins is the guy.
