Where did the Montreal Expos play there first ever game on this day in1969?
I do think A-Rod would be one of a few players that could break the single season HR record, the other being Ryan Howard and maybe because of where he plays Alfonso Soriano (Wrigley field). I also think Rodriguez is the only one though who has a legitimate shot at breaking the HR record once Bonds surpasses it and think he could put the record out of reach where it will be like Gretzky's goals scored, something that will be impossible to reach.Buck Estrada Ruiiz Douiment Molina?
he is hot now but will not lastA-Rod is certainly capable of doing it this year, but Im not sure if Steinbrehnner has enough juiced balls for everyone. Plus A-Rod looks like he is cooling down power-wise.
How many years in a row will the Boston Red Sox win the AL East, assuming they win it this year?
simple answer NOWho's your all time favorite baseball player?
Rodriguez is in good position, given his age and career to date, to wind up with the home run record for a while. This is not a firm prediction, because (a) an injury could fell him at any time, (b) we don't yet know where the record will be, presuming Bonds gets there, and (c) Rodriguez isn't yet 2/3 of the way to Aaron. Five hundred looks to be in the bag, but 750 is half-again as many -- that's a long row to hoe.I won't make any prediction on the season record. His high is 57, but that's still 16 short of where Bonds got (deal with it, reality-impaired deniers). It takes a perfect season to catch a record no matter the specific statistic, because one is chasing the extreme performance in history -- it SHOULD be hard to do. And sometimes, surprising -- consider, would anyone have predicted Maris would catch Ruth?
Noting that Maris' 61 is still the AL record (not that anyone cares), Rodriguez could reset that mark.
