How about them D RAYS!Im not a fan of them but they made the SPANKIESlook like a little league team!?

Could be Gorman Thomas and Ben Oglivie, in the early Eighties. I know Oglivie tied Reggie Jackson for the AL home run lead with 41 in 1980, and in the strike-shortened '81 season, roughly two-thirds as long as a full season, Stormin' Gorman was one of four AL players with 22. Eddie Murray and Tony Armas Sr. were two of the other three, I forget the fourth. I do know it wasn't a Yankee, as Reggie hit just 15 and I don't think Dave Winfield hit more than 20.
