Question:Mussina had a poor outing yesterday. He is supposed to be one of the star pitchers. Who can the Yankees rely on to give them good starting pitching if they want to catch up with the Red Sox?

Andy Pettitte, who will outduel Crybaby Curt tonight. Chien-Ming Wang and his sinker of death. Matt DeSalvo. Tyler Clippard. And, when they come off the disabled list, Philip Hughes and Darrell Rasner. All of them except Pettitte are young, and will be part of the Yankee rotation for years to come. And rumor has it there's another guy on the way, an older one, can't hink of his name at the moment, but I hear he's good. A little expensive and kind of high-strung, but good.I need to watch free baseball i don't know how to do this though can anyone help me?

Who are your all-time greatest Yankee players by position ?
Mussina can no longer be considered a star pitcher. His velocity is donw, and when is control is off he is in trouble. He is a solid 4 maybe 3 pitcher at best now. Pettitte is the ace, folowed by Wang, Clemens, Mussina, HughesI am going to say the most reliable pitcher the Yankees have and he hasen very inconsistent thus far, he only has 33 K in 9 appearances, and he is 0-1 against the Red Sox for the year in 3 starts. He is not coming up when the team needs him. Wang is only 3-3 with an ERA of 4.28, he has only 18 K in 6 starts and has been injured a bit, I consider that unreliable. Tyler Clippard cannot be considered relaible, he only has one career start. He is unproven. Phil Hughes is already unrelaiable, 2 career starts and already has a trip to the DL. DeSalvo is 1-1 in 3 starts, he has only 4 Ks and yet 10 walks, walking 2.5 for every 1 K is unrelaible and will easily get you in trouble. Also he already has an ERA of about 4. Rasner is 1-3 with a 4.01 ERA, he has 11K and 8 walks which is another bad ratio. Also he is already on he 60 day DL. Another guy that in not relaible, plus he only has 17 career starts. Clemens is not a guy that can be considered reliable because you have no clue what to expect, he is almost 45, he is coming from the National League where the line up s are weaker and you do not know what you are going to get. Right now that Yankees do not have a relaible pitcher.
