Why do people think Giambi has stopped juicing but they think Bonds still is ?
Question:Giambi went on TV and made an apology. Now that he is hitting again but people think he stopped juicing. When it comes to Bonds, people thinks he is still juicing and been juicing all his baseball career. Why ?

Lets face it. Barry Bonds has three strikes against him. He is self centered. He is chasing the most hallowed record of the game. And he is black. This isn't all because of racism, but it is a factor. People forget that his numbers before his supposed personal steroid era were fantastic. He hit homers, he stole bases, he hit for average. It is just a simple fact that he really is the greatest player ever, but he's not everybodies best friend. Giambi is a nice guy. He has a nice haircut, and a he is a Yankee. Plus, he is white. How many white guys have been grilled about this whole steroids deal? How many people were yelling about the Carolina Panthers offensive line (comprised of almost all white guys) that helped lead their team to the super bowl while on HgH? It is a joke, and it is a sad reality of our country.Keep hitting them Barry, I'll cheer you from my couch.

Because Giambi is a Yankee and the national sports media is based in New York. And as much as they like to deny it they not only openly root for the Yankers. They disrespect other players in all sports trying to bring them to New York with comments like , you can make more money here. You answered part of the question yourself. Giambi apologized, atlhough he did not flat out admit using steroids. Nevertheless the apology convinced many fans that his steroid use was a thing of the past. Bonds has always denied using steroids, a position most baseball fans scoff at.You also have to consider that Bonds is a loner and not very friendly and therefore most baseball fans( outside of San Francisco) are not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. The outgoing Giambi is being cut a little bit of slack.

with the new testing policy how can Bonds still (if he ever was) be doing steroids. and the difference between Giambi and Bonds is that Bonds is REALLY close to breaking a major league record and I guess some people don't like to see that happen. Personally I love it...aren't records made to be broken? I don't know i am probably a little byiss because I am a Giants fan but even though I dislike the Yankees I think it would be cool for A-rod to break the single-season hr record this year. I don't think Bonds is still juicing. Him getting off the juice was part of the injury problems he had last year and now that his body has had time to recover from the damage the drugs did, he's clean and healthy again.What does it mean when a batter hits the ball "the other way"?

Giambi never specified what he was apologizing for. Maybe he had been kicking puppies and felt bad about that.When he gives details about whatever his apology was intended to alleviate, I'll think slightly better of him.
