Its really hard to say right now, i think he will only get better. First season may be rough, but towards the end of the season I think he will adapt and get better. He will be much better than Nomo, chan ho and Kaz, but remember Nomo and chan had a few good season just couldnt maintain it.Why were the Boston Red Sox wearing green jerseys last night?

Too early to tell, but the way he's playing right now...hehe I'm probally THE only one to think he wouldn't do well this season.He is worth the tons of money, he is going to pan out and if he can keep his ERA 2-3 BoSox have a good chance to win the World Series. Other than his Asian background, Dice-K has little in common with the other three. Although it is still early in his career, his value extends beyond his win-loss record and his number of pitches.The BoSox paid an extreme amount of money to bring him in, but one must look past his physical ability to find his true value. When the Rockets signed Yao Ming, they cornered a large advertising market. While Yao is a good (if not great) player, I seriously doubt he should be the number voted all-star every year. With the expansion into the Japanese market, I feel Boston with show profit and increased fan base from simply having a player of his descent.

i mean i think that it is very early to say.but according to his first few starts here he havent leaved up to the hype but,we should give the guy a break i mean,this is his first year here in the u.s.a and in MLB. i mean i think that we can all tell that dice-k has great pitching and he has the ability to be a dominant pitcher in baseball,but their are some adjustments that he needs to make.he needs to realize that hitters here in MLB arent the same hitters as those that he was used pitching to in japan.players here are much better hitters and especially in the american league.he also needs control over his stuff and he needs to stop walking alot of hitters.compared to josh beckett who made the switch to the AL last year and he was hit hard but this year u can already see that he made some adjustments and now hes 6-0.am sure that we,ll see improvement from dice-k him soon. i mean the redsox are not stupid that they gave him all of that money for nothing.PS:any body who thinks that hes another blow,then its probably an ignorant yankee fan who,s just hating.
