Sammy sosa, comeback player of the year?

Which Toronto Blue Jays manager was fired for lying about his military exploits?

I don't see it happening. Sosa REALLY struggled 2 years ago in Baltimore and looked like he should have been playing AA ball not MLB. His bat speed was terribly slow and his power numbers were abysmal.makes you wonder doesn't it? Given the fact that now he's been out of the game for 2 years and hasn't seen live major league pitching, I can't see him doing any better than he did in Baltimore. My prediction: Sosa will have trouble staying on the 25 man roster and may end up being either released or retiring before year's end. He only needs 14 HR to get to 600 and I don't think he'll get to that.

Is Bonds really that big of a cheat?

Not gonna happen, Slammin Sammy will be lucky to hit 10 homers.

Does Major league baseball have a draft?

No way, he's only there to hit his homers and then he's done.

What's a good nickname for Papelbon?

He's got some pop left but he won't have numbers that strong to win comeback player of the year.

Infield Shift?

plffght!!

What is the closest minor league baseball team located near Rochester, Mn?

No.

My pick would be Gary Sheffield. In 2006, he played in just 39 games for the New York Yankees because of an injury. Sheffield is now playing with the Detroit Tigers and still has plenty of pop in his bat and could find his touch again with a new team.

Why can't the colorado rockies win the west?

Sorry to say but I do not think Sosa stands a chance at being the comeback player of the year. I loved Sosa in his days with the cubs, but I don't think that he can duplicate those days. If he hits 20 hrs, he will be lucky. Look at his last season in MLB when he played with Orioles and his numbers were dismal, I think that is going to be about what we see this year as well.

Does the DH have to hit for the pitcher, does it say he'll take the pitcher's spot only.?

Get out of town son get out of town hahahahahahahaha

he sucks i will consider him lucky if he hits 10 homers

and being in Texas doesn't help himso much. . . .

my pick for comback player is Hideki Matsui

Comeback from what? Juicing himself up with 'roids?
I agree with the earlier post saying he'll be lucky to get thru the season in the majors.
