Question:A-Rod is on track to break Berry's* record* do you think there would be more people celebrating some one who has not been associated with roids is breaking a record or will there be more people horrified and mad because Berry* broke the all time record. Yes they would both bring media attention but one negative and one positive. Witch one would go down in history as the event of the year.

Barry Bonds has too big of a head for me. A-Rod may have a huge paycheck but I think he is one if not the best baseball players of all time. He's also the classiest. Everyone knows Bonds did 'roids. He went from somewhat small to huge. I hope to God A-Rod breaks it if Bonds does.I think people will Celebrate A-rods breaking it cause he's done it and keeps doing it every year after year. it's funny if Bonds didn't do steroids why did his power numbers surge for a couple years for a man out of his prime, and why didn't he claim that the book about him taking steroids was a lie if he didn't take them

Im sick of the whole B.Bonds steriod thing. I mean come on lots of people were/are using steriods but no one is doing what Barry Bonds is doing. He hasnt been found guilty of using anything, he should be celebrated for what he is achieving. But if A-Rod was to surpass Barry Bonds years down the line, i think it would be celebrated more unless something happens to put a cloud over A-Rods head like it has Barrys. If A-Rod stays clean in the publics eye and remains in New York of course it will be a bigger deal, which is sad.Sad part of all this is , the 90s and 2000s will be known as the steriod age. Barry as never been found guilty of anything, yet this cloud remains over his head. No one in history is putting up the numbers he has and there have been plenty of people busted for steriods. How many pitchers were/on steriods? Who really knows, but i think Barry Bonds should be celebrated for what he has done, it just wont happen.Sadly :-(

first of all as a response to the other response, it is a fact that barry bonds at least used the cream. He denies knowing that the cream had steroids in it. Alex Rodriguez will never break this record when Bonds finally does. A-Rod is an old 30 and could not handle all the pressure. I would be surprised if A-Rod played past 37. And regardless of the bad personality and steroids, Bonds is still the greatest hitter on the planet, maybe ever. In an era when everyone did steroids Bonds hit 20 more homers a year then anyone else. Bonds may not have broken the record without the juice but he will always go down as one of, if not the greates hitter ever.
