I would like to know what they do with broken bats at a MLB game.?
Question:I would hope they don't throw them away you would think it is something that could be auctioned off for charity.

from what i see on TV they sometimes give them away in the stands...i dont know what they do if they dont do that.I know that you can usually find Giants' broken bats at their Dugout stores. Not really cheap, either.

The bats were being sent directly to headquarters in New York for inspection at one time because the commissioner was trying to figure out if players were doing something illegal to the bats in order to cause them to break. I don't know if that policy still stands,What do u think when you here know batting lance berkman?
They sell them in the team store or on online stores. It usally sells for around 100 dollars.Last time I was at Dodger Stadium, I saw a Mike Edwards (my batting coach too!) broken bat selling for $135
