Question:Now that we know the details: Hancock was nearly two times over the legal limit (BAC) and Marijuana was found in his automobile.. Should the Cardinals be honoring him by wearing his number on their sleeve for the remainder of the season? (Suppose he would have taken another life, is this careless behavior supposed to be honored?)
*Granted, I could see maybe remembering him for a period of a week or so... But, a patch on their jersey for the remainder of the season?*

Dude, no one is perfect. I am sure there are some people on here who do not drink and drive or smoke pot for that matter, but I bet the majority or half of the folks on here have had a few pops and drove a car, but were the lucky one's who made it home safely. i guess i don;t have a huge problem with it. The fact is he DIDNT take another life. thank the lord! However incredibly irresponsible he was, he still is a loss for the team. i think mlb made a mistake by honoring him before the facts were revealed. they should admit their mistakes, take the patch off, leave it at that & move on w/ their lives. leaving that patch on their sleeve is saying that mlb is stating it's ok to drive drunk, get high, and talk on the cell phone while driving directly into a park car.
