Who should the St. Louis Cardinals starting second baseman?
Question:The Cardinals lineup has been slumping and a lot of the guys numbers are down here after the world championship season. Tony LaRussa has stuck with his guys as they're all proven pro altheletes and it's his guess that they will pull through sooner or later. My question is if Tony should try a different starting second basemen? Adam Kennedy is one of the Cardinals starters who is off to a bad start and he's the less proven of the 8 starting positional players. Tony's other options would be to play the fast ball hitting veteran Scott Spezio who played a bit of second base on Oakland and through out his career. Or Tony can go with Aaron Miles who has came through in the clutch for the Cardinals as of late including his 3-4 performance last series against Detriot in a game that the Cardinals, in my opinion, should have won. None the less, feel free to look up stats of give your gut opinion on the situation at hand.

You brought up a lot of great points. I didn't know Spezio was that good, but then again why would a Cardinal girl follow Oakland? You are right, the line up is a little stale. If Tony would replace one guy, that might get the other players thinking that they needed to get into the action. Go Cards!
