Other than batting gloves whats the best way to keep from stinging my sons hands.?
Question:
Answers:
I would have your son get a wooden bat and a tee (T-Ball tee). Move the tee around to replicate inside pitches andoutside pitches. For inside pitches move the T to the front left corner of a home plate on the ground and for outside pitches place the tee and the back right corner of the home plate. As he is getting used to hitting these types of pitches on the barrell it should cut down on the sting. There is no way to remove it completly with the exception of hitting every abll on the screws. He needs to learn the optimal position of his barrell for all types of pitches, inside and outside. One thing that also might help is to get him into the mindset of hitting every pitch thrown up the middle. This is partucularly benefical on outside pitches... Hope this might help and good luck to your son with Baseball

Solid contact is the only way to prevent that stinging. Batting gloves have nothing to do with it.plastic bat and ball if hes not playing an actual game. A wodden bat might also work along with batting gloves.

Depending on his age. Begin to focus a little more on the sweet spot of the bat and the middle of the ball. Solid contact is the key here. The batting gloves have nothing to do with the vibration, even though it can help during cold weather. Tee work and dedication can cure that in the long runWhat can your favorite team do to improve fan experience?
Make sure he has a decent grip on the bat, not too loose. Good contact has a lot to do with it as well, make sure he isn't getting jammed or hitting it with the tip of the bat.maybe hes not holding the bat tight enough when he swings in fear that it will hurt. he should have a loose grip before the pitch and grip it good when hes about to make contact. it will not vibrate as much if he holds it tight.
Can anybody tell me how much a beer costs at Busch Stadium (where the Cardinals play)?
dont do anything gross , depending on his age use some pine tar if he is older and using a wooden bat to absorb some of the shock, and regardless of age just try to get him to stand back in the batters box so that when he hits it, it will be further away from the hands so he wont get as much recoilWho won the AAA san francisco softball championship game? lincoln or lowell?
If he's hitting the ball well it shouldnt sting at all. Hitting the ball well is actually one of the greatest feelings in the world. Will the Yanks make the playoffs now that clemens is back?
If he's batting, he needs to have a strong grip on the bat. When he hits the ball the vibration from the bat (especially metal) is what stings his hands. The stronger the grip the less vibration will occur.Im looking for old bricks from any old ballpark?
Try putting soft dirt on the palms or maybe even a shock absorber that goes on the end of the bat they work really wellI don't know how old he is, but maybe getting him a wooden or composite wood bat would help him learn to make better contact..this is the only way to prevent the stinging, he is either getting jammed inside or hitting it off the end of the bat (I assume he is using an aluminum bat?). The composite wood bat should last a while, and it won't break as easy as a true wood bat.
Coming from someone who plays softball in the winter and summer, you really cant stop the sting besides solid contact. But something that may help would be gloves with padding on the area where it stings on the inside of his thumb bad index finger Im guessing.
Is it true that Steinbrenner is thinking about moving the Yankees to Las Vegas?
Well if he doesn't want to where batting gloves then he has two options that will make his hands rough so they don't sting. One would be to pee on them as in during a shower or something to that affect. The other option would be pickle juice.I can say honestly that I use both meathods, don't where batting gloves, and haven't had my hands sting in over 2 years.
