the rocket wont help them grab the pennant this year, maybe wild card, but no pennant the yanks are having much larger problems then in their defense. They need to look for more offensive help, AROD and jeter cant do it all themselves.Any MLB starter will at this point. Their rotation is a disaster. Clemens will pitch well but dont expect him to give them long innings. Their bullpen will be taxed by Clemens.

He will help them, but they won't win the pennat this year. The pitching is old and the injuries aren't going away. I must say no. That's speaking objectively, too ( I'm a Sox fan). The lineup hasn't been carrying them and one starter, whatever his past, isn't enough if he only pitches every five day for the last two thirds of the season with no guaranteed success. Even when the other starters come back, Igawa has played like crap except those 6 relief innings against the Sox, Hughes is unproven and inexperienced, and Moose and Pettitte aren't exactly young. They're decent, but not exactly Cy Young material. Once upon a time, maybe, but not anymore.When will the 2008 MLB schedule be available?
in my opinion, he will help them tremendously. BUT he is not the answer by any stretch of the imagination. And in response to the last answer, every yankee pitcher is taxing their bullpen right now. So someone coming from the bullpen with a 2-0 lead in the 6th inning after clemens pitches will be better than someone coming in down 6-2 in the 7th after any of their 10 starting pitchers (thats how many they have started this year). he will help, but i think they need more help than he can provide.How many home runs do you think a-rod whill hit this season?
Roger clemens is a sore loser, and a trader. He sold out on his home town. He is old, and I can't wait to see the stros' beat his rear into the ground :)Who thinks ESPN is bias/favor towards the yanks?

Nope. he should of retired 2 years ago. he is not among the best any more. And Yankees will miss the playoffs and Joe Torre will retire.I dont know maybe.
