I am a pitcher and I just was wondering how u throw a gyro ball?

a gyro ball doesnt really exist. its just a theory.

Considering no professional player has yet to master the gyroball enough to use it consistantly, it would be best to wait until the pitch is more readily available.

Gyro ball is a a 4 seam thrown like a football but a perfect bullet rotation. At the end your supposed to pronate it.

The spin cuts air resistance which means the pitch doesnt slow down at all like a slider would
At the very last second, the pitch dives across the plate.

But seriously dude so far 3 people only know how to throw it. I do to but keep it a secret lol.

It would be a 4-seamer that comes in straight, but instead of having a "direct spin" it has more of a circular rotation. This tighter spiral, like a football, would make the bottom fall out once it reaches the plate. WICKED

Looks like he holds the ball scissored by holding the first and middle finger high on one side with ring finger and pinkie lower on the other side. On the release he snaps his wrist in while hooking his first two fingers around the ball which creates a tight spiral that dives in and drops once it runs out of energy. It looks like the old Christy Mathewson fade-away or a modified screwball
