I've noticed alot of baseball players have trouble hitting a slower pitched softball. If you mean fast-pitch softball then there shouldnt be much adjustment at all - just the pitcher's mound is closer is all. But slow-pitch is more about timing. Baseball players tend to swing early and generally hit the bottom of the softball resulting in cheap pop-ups. You should wait as long as possible before swinging and swing quick with a slight upper-swing. I believe high pitches are easier to drive then lower ones.good luck amigo...

a baseball swing is more of a loopy swingin softball you try to turn you wrists when you meet the ball.
girls softball have to use there wrist and their hips to drive the ball, it is all about turning you hips and wrists.
