MVP baseball! best game ever!?
If they are drafted by a major league ball club, they usually get a nice signing bonus. Once they are in the minors, they are considered professional.Of course, although they aren't MB professionals doesn't mean they are not professional baseball players. As soon as you are playing baseball for money your considered a professional. Unfortunately many minor leaguers get paid very little for a chance to move up from single A to triple A and hopefully get the call up to the majors. Most of the ppl in the minors though are late teens early 20s trying to get enough recognition and time on the field to prove what they have so they can make the real bucks.
I know ESPN won't say this because bias.. But does anyone fear the Anaheim Angels? 6 game lead?
yesWhat is more important to you in MLB, winning or how you played the game?
yes they get paid but not that much.i mean come on they,re minor league players wat do u think??How many innings long was the longest baseball game?
yeah of course. What happened to harold robbins?
Sure. It may not be much though. Depends on the league. I worked for a couple of minor baseball teams, and the players all have 'real' jobs during the off season, because they don't get paid enough for the few months baseball is going on.If it's a farm league though (an MLB associated team), they get paid enough. Especially if they get the call up. Ohhh yeaaaaaaaah.
Minor league players ARE professionals. Even in rookie ball, they are professional players.
