CC Sabathia?
Question:If the indians do decide to deal C.C. what team do you think he would go to and who the indians would get in return?
Answers:
Who will catch for the Mets tomorrow? 04/20/07?
package sabathia and paul byrd for carlos zambrano. the tribe isn't going to resign cc or byrd and zambranos contact expires after next season. How do i pitch a baseball faster?
The Yankees would get him in return for some minor league prospects and a whole lot of money. Sabathia is exactly what the Yanks need because their rotation is in disarray. C.C. can pitch!hopefully they can get a good 3rd basemen so casey blake can play rf because he has the best arm in the indians outfield. Also, Andy Marte SUCKS.
Do you think Yankees are going to win tonight.?
give him to the white soxWhy is baseball boring and cricket is more better?
as a tribe fan, i hope he doesnt go, but we could sure use some more of the money he would take up with his contract. we we did get rid of a pitcher, i would hope it would be paul byrd (he is the oldest and takes up a lot of money) then we could have a solid 5 with cc, cliff lee, westbrook, jeremy sowers, and fausto carmona. if he would get dealt, i would guess the yanks because their pitching sucks. How can I tell if my softball bat is broken?
The Sox are more likely to get CC. The Yanks forgot that pitching wins ballgames, and would rather sign more 'Hollywood' poster-boys like A-Rod and Damon. The Sox will get him when he becomes a free agent, just like Manny...and the Indians will get nothing...nada.nyet!Using your best pitcher in the most crucial situation?
Leave it to a Red Sox fan to shoot off his big mouth and say any available player is going to their team!! I just read in todays paper, that the Indians would trade him to the Yankees,Yankees would more then likely trade Milky! Also rumored is the phillies might trade Jon Liber back to the yankees, for 2 prospects NOT NAMED!!
Need help getting my fantasy baseball roster straight?
he should go to the yankees for musCC is my friend Jeff's nephew...few know it but CC can really swing a bat...so it would be cool to see him move on to a NL team and hit a lil bit... although a team like the Yankees would spend for him Id like to see him play closer to home, perhaps the Giants, As, or San Diego...
with CC's contract expiring after the 2008 season there is about a .5% chance of CC going anywhere this year. he has publicly stated during interleague play that he wants to be able to pinch hit during the games he doesn't pitch, so i would only make sense for him to go to a NL team. a California team would make sense because that's where he's from.
for a pitcher he has good hitting stats in .265 avg 1 hr 6 RBI in 34 at bats
We will only trade him if we are out of contention. And thats not going to happen. We could trade him during the off season and if we do it will be to the national league.
GO TRIBE !
Which one of these players never hit 50 home runs ?
The only way CC gets dealt is if there is absolutely no chance of making the playoffs (and they'll make it). The Yankee's would seem like the team to go after him, but they would first have to be in a position where they think they could make the playoffs (which they might not unless they have a huge turnaround). Even then I wonder if they would have any prospects worth trading for that they would be willing to give up. They have been under criticism lately for depleting their farm system in order to get that "last piece of the puzzle" for a championship run. If CC were to be traded I think he would go to a team like the Mets who need more pitching and I've heard they might be willing to trade someone like Lastings Milledge to get it.Who do you think is the best defensive player in Baseball?
He won't be leaving this season.I don't know if he's leaving at all. They have him locked up through 2008.And if CC is going anywhere it's Oakland.Thats where he grew and and the team he routed for and where he resides.I really hope they can hang onto him. He's a great pitcher. If they do decided to deal him midway through 2008,(assuming they are still in contention)they will need a big player,Rich Harden,Dan Haren, someone like that.Detroit Tiger's Season Tickets!?
Lets squash this right now...the Yankees are not getting CC-the Indians have him locked through 2008 season-and who in the hell do you think the Indians are going to get for him. See Mark Shapiro isn't as stupid as Cashman... (see Bartolo Colon for Grady Sizemore and Cliff Lee trade)...I know in all NYY fans dreams Indians will trade CC for some light hitting .200 B.A single A ball player...forget it. Indians are legit...whether any of you like to admit it or not...17-8 and playing bad baseball...yes bad baseball. They are only now heating up at the plate. Indians will hold him all year and all next year---you don't sit in 1st place and trade your ace...wake upMore Questions & Answers...
