All-Time Best Homerun Hitters?

A genuine Bonds/Thomas class hitter in Coors Field could reach .400 -- gotta draw a lot of walks and spend some time on the DL in order to just reach the minimum required plate appearances. Don't hope for it, but it's conceivable.

30 wins won't happen. League-leading starters today get 35, maybe 36 starts, and so much has to go right -- stay healthy, pitch well, hope the bullpen doesn't blow it, hope the offense puts up enough runs to enable the W -- it's just asking too much. Shoot, we haven't seen a 25 game winner since 1990.

Can i watch the astros game for free?

if anyone hits .400 it would have to be a homerun hitter not someone like Ichiro whom everybody talked about was the next guy to hit .400. Its gotta be somebody who walks alot and doesnt have many official at bats, think about it if you have 700 at bats like Ichiro averages he would have to have 285 hits to get to .400.
So Im picking Pujols to hit .400

To get to 30 wins someone would have to win at least 2 games for 15 straight years so Im guessing barring an atomic bomb or the next plague someone will accomplish this feat.

Best 5 players in Major League History?

It would take a super effort by someone. The problem is with the traveling and specialized pitching, (short relief, middle relief, closer) it's almost impossible for anyone to hold up to that. (Four hits for every 10 times at bat), That's tough!

As far as winning 30 games by a pitcher, it could happen but with the five man rotation starting pitchers are only getting 30 to 35 starts a year. That's just not enough starts. Even with a four man rotation it would be very difficult.

Why doesn't MLB allow ONLY aluminum bats to be used? The wooden bats are VERY dangerious when they splinter...

Hitting .400 will be tough for anyone to do but not impossible, 30 wins will never happen again because P's don't get enough starts with the 5 man rotation.
