Do you think they need a salary cap in baseball??

Highschool baseball bat?

If you don't think so after what Boston paid to sign Matsuzaka, there is something wrong with you. I mean who pays 100 million + between talking to the guy and actually signing him for someone who has never played in the MLB. Come on Boston and New York, stop hogging all the good players, its not fair. Other teams might actually get some fans if they had a chance at the big name players.

The hit-a-way machines is a nothing more then trash? do you agree.?

SOme are getting outrageous salaries, I would say Yes.

Why did the Boston Red Sox wear green at their game on Friday April 20th?

Nope. The more years that the Yankees don't win the World Series is reason enough to believe that you cannot buy yourself a World Series Championship no matter how much you spend.

Men only: I'm a college student (20 y/o). Is this haircut a good thing for me to ask for?

The truth is baseball will probably never get a salary cap simply because the Major Leabue Baseball Players Association(MLBPA) is much too powerful, and will never allow it to happen. That being said, I think a salary cap would be good for baseball, mainly because I think that parody is important for growth in a sport. Look at football and basketball, new teams emerge every year to challenge for the championship or super bowl. For the most part you see the same teams year in year out in baseball.

Have the Minnesota Twin's brke ground on their new stadium yet, and if not why am I paying the taxes already?

Yes I do! When you have teams with all the money like the Yankees and Red Sox and teams that do not like the Reds, Pirates, Royals etc. then you have a disparity of who wins and who doesn't. A salary cap would even the playing field!

Roger Clemmens?

There should only be one year contracts, and you only get paid for the performance from last year. Getting tired of 10 year contracts that are a waste after the 5th year.

How many times have Toronto Blue Jays players won the American League Rookie-of-the-year Award?

They need one.You have the Yankees,Red Sox,Mets with all the big payrolls so they will always be able to compete. This puts small market teams like the Indians and A's at a disadvantage and puts the even smaller ones(Royals,Devil Rays, etc, etc)and such a disadvantage that they can't compete. They should make the salary cap 150 million and you can't go over it.I don't think it will happen but they should use it.

Jack Robinsons Number 42?

I would have to say yes, the only teams making money are the highest payrolls and the lowest payrolls. It's not good for the sport on the whole to have only a few of the teams making money. Look at the NFL since they added the salary cap, I feel parity is good for the sport on a whole, might not be best for my team, the Dodgers, one of the high payroll teams. But in the end it would be best for the whole sport.

What reason do fans in Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Tampa and Washington DC want to buy season tickets when in all fairness they aren't going to pull off a Detroit Tiger miracle and make a playoff run. At least in football anybody and everybody has a chance, thus the fans have a reason to support their teams, from the first day of the season until the last day of September, not April.

In their prime which 3 would you pick in a homerun derby?

The answer is obvious, but Donald Fehr will never allow it. Why would he want to stop a good thing for the players? Screw the fans, they don't support these salaries by paying outrageous prices for tickets, parking, and consessions. Instead of a team cap, how about a maximum salary? They have a minimum. Let's say that no player can make more than $5M in one season, including incentives.

Are San Francisco Giants Fans the worse in Baseball ?

I believe that`s the luxury tax by another name. I believe they should pay the players a base salary, plus incentives for individual and team performance. The players union would never go for it , though.

How many homeruns will A-rod finish his career with?

I think so, dont think it will happen. Everyone but yankee fans want a cap more or less.

Why is A-Rod wearing knee high socks this season?

YES ! Bud Selig & the owners are stupid fools for not having 1 yet. The MLB needs a salary cap like the NHL's or NBA's .
