Why did Yankee fans give A-Rod a curtain call after a meaningless HR and just an OK game?

because of his ultra _ego along with the rest of the Yankeesfirst off the error could have been given to posada or mussina, he was the only one who acctually tried so it wasnt his fault. they gave him the curtain call because they believe they are harsh to him when he messes up and they were trying to make him feel better. the yankees fans dont like him because he is better than jeter and no one can accept that, just look at ther numbers and he is younger. dont get me wrong jeter is great but not a rod level. and the game of baseball is all mental so the fans think if he is rewarded with a curtain call he will do it again.
Because A-Rod deserved it after the numerous times the Yankees fans have not recognized his accomplishments!!

He alaso had a base hit and stole second to get himself into scoring position to tie the game. So he struck out with 2 on earlier in the game, you can't get a hit every at bat. If it was that easy you would be doing it. The error, I got nothing on that - he just flat out missed that pop up, but they didn't boo Jeter when he committed his error. I don't know that he deserved a curtain call, but good for the Yankees fans for not taking him fro granted.
