Will the Indians surprise people and win the AL Central?
Question:Will the Indians be this years Tigers and make a run into October?
Answers:
Should I drop Randy Johnson from the DL and pick up someone?
The Indians shouldn't surprise anyone, but only because most baseball fans should know they are a good team. They play in a tough division, so making the playoffs will be difficult. I thought they'd be a contender last year, and am sure they will this year.I have read a lot of journalists that share this opinion. Who's more likely to win the NBA Finals? The Mavericks or the Suns?
They were every bit as good as the Tigers last year. It was a fluke that they had a record like they had. Its gonna bet tight in the AL Central, and the Indians are gonna be hard to stop. Will ESPN have baseball on this evening now that the Cubs-Cards game has been postponed?
Ahhhh....no.How do you qualify as a rookie in major league baseball?
The AL central is baseball's toughest division this year.twins have the best bats, but lack in pitching
sox have a great mix of small ball, long ball and good pitching
indians are up and coming and will beat up the whole division
tigers - improved from last year with sheff, but already have injuries
royals- meche is a great starter. good teamwork and did you see them beat up teh bosox on opening day
anyone of these teams could win the division. AL central will be the black and blue division this year. and because of that, the wildcard probably won't come from here. or if it does, they will barely edge out the 2nd place team in the east, either yanks, bosox or jays.
Why do most switch hitters bat left-handed?
It truly depends on their bullpen. While the Indians have undoubtedly one of the best young line-ups and field players, their bullpen is where the question marks are. Lasy year they had a league low 24 saves to go with a league high 23 BLOWN saves. They did little to improve their bullpen in the off-season too. Additionally, they are playing in what is regarded as one of the top divisions in baseball, with 4 legitimate contenders for the AL pennant (Indians, Twins, Tigers, and my team, the Sox). This year's AL central will be a tight race down to the last game of the season (where Indians fans were disappointed last year). 93-95 wins should be a good target for them, though as last year showed, that doesn't guarantee the playoffs. What exactly is an infield fly?
It will be of no surprise to me. I have said watch out for Indians since early December. How can I become a little league baseball coach?
Not really. Cleveland has a great line up and a pretty decent pen. (the only thing they lack are true SP) But I think they should be able to get into the playoffs6 in a row , and 7 of 8. Are you feeling it yet?
Get Cliff Lee back and there is a shot at doing so..You know my friend GP told me about the Tribe but I told him just don't worry about them ,but as the season is starting up they seem more and more of a threat.Only time will tell
With the Wild Thing and Pedro Cerrano on board - maybe. With Eric Wedge messing up a bad bullpen, no chance.
