At what point of the year will the "trade Manny" talks begin?

I had doubts about the Braves bullpen. But if they keep working like on opening day, I don't see why not.

it's going to be a tight race between atl/phi/nym but i think they can do it. we improved the bullpen and that was our main problem last year. the starting pitching is questionable (hope hudson returns to form and redman isn't a bust) and hopefully chipper stays healthy and the offense keeps up what it did last year. let's not forget about the defense in the outfield (AJ,Francouer,Langy) has to be the best in MLB
overall, i think they have a good shot and I'm excited about this season

Do you agree that there should be a PENALTY for an intentional walk?

They will rebound. The bullpen is responsible for a lot of their problems last year. I mean, they had what, 20 blown saves last year. They get that down to 4 or 5 and they would have won the wild card.

The starters will be great, Smoltz is still an elite pitcher, Hudson's out of his funk, Hampton will be back in a month and Chuck James will keep it going from last year.

Andruw will get 40+ homers, Francouer played really well at the end of last year and will be great this season again, 30+ homers and at least a .280 BA. Renteria is playing like he did back in St. Louis. McCann is the best catcher in the NL. If Chipper is healthy all year, the Braves will take the division. If he isn't it will be close.

Most over hyped bust of all-time?

They are better then last year.They will finish in 2nd and make a run at the Mets and the Wild Card.

Is there a better pitching staff than the giants starters?

Not sure if their starting pitching is strong enough to over take the division.

With Hudson not being quite the ace they thought he would be has really hurt the team the past few years. If he can put together a decent season and the bull pen can win a lot of close ones then they might have a chance.

Not a chance. There's a giant rock in Braves' way thats called the New York Mets.

Yes. better bullpen then last year. much better ! and they have better starting pitching than the Mets and Phillies.
