It is simple - if you speak English - the fans down south will hate you. They only like their own. Keep the family tree in a straight line. I've been down there - I know!

US Cellular Field Stadium Club?

Fans were mad because with Gordon's victory he moved passed Earnhardt Sr. on the all time career wins list. He also won on a track (Talladega) that Earnhardt had dominated on, in the past. Finally, to cap things off, it would have been Earnhardt's 56th birthday on that same day.

I agree with you though. Those hicks need to be put in their place! **** red-necks!

Why do you think that the Yankees are off to such a poor start to the season?

Simply put, Talladega fans don't like Gordon. (see link)

The fans knew that Earnhardt Jr. would win when the race was almost over, but then Gordon comes by and beats him. Jr. won on that track many time and now Gordon has won. They were mad at him! (REALLY MAD!)
