yeah currently they are but they are also a very young team. Some of their young pitching is pretty talented, just look at shawn hill and john patterson if he ever comes to form and we have young talent in Ryan Zimmerman and Ryan Church. There are also Nick Johnson who is straight nasty when he's healthy, Austin Kearns plus I think Langerhans will really help us. Give them a couple of years, when their new stadium generates them cash flow, and they'll eventually be pretty awesome.What was the biggest blowout in the history of baseball?

Its them by far. They have no pitching, especially now that Patterson is hurt (again). The hitting isn't as bad as the pitching, but it isn't great either. Zimmerman is the only guy they have to build around at this point so it isn't going to get better any time soon. I would say they were the worst team of all time if they hadn't gotten Kearns and Lopez in the trade with the Reds. Those two are decent major leaguers but shouldn't be the 2nd and 3rd best hitters on your team. Holding on to Soriano at the deadline keeps looking worse every day...I guess you could make an argument for KC as well, but they have talent in the lineup, but lack experience. The starting staff there is better as well. At least Washington is moving out of that poor excuse for a stadium that they play in now.
