Who is the major league pitcher that threw back-to-back no-hitters?
They probably should to protect his confidence if he doesn't start pitching better soon. For more on the Mets and MLB, check this site out. http://www.factipedia.com/sportsblogs/ml...
Yes, he was only drafted two years ago and has been rushed to the majors, in a similar fashion to craig hansen of the Red Sox. I think he would be best served with a full year in the minors to work on his secondary pitches and then maybe a september call up. I think the Mets can afford to do this because even if they dont win the division they will win the wild card, and it would better serve them for the playoffs to have a Mike Pelfrey who is ready to contribute.
What versatile athlete’s nickname was inspired by her mighty baseball swing?
after a couple of more starts if he doesn't improve...Sosa looked good the other day..maybe he'll fit in.....I'm no sure.Who else do they have to put there? He is struggling but they need to give him a few more starts untill El Duque comes back.
In the box score, What does the "H" next to a relief pitcher mean?
I really hate to see it done, but I think that it's gonna be all for the best. We have Brian Laurence that could easily slip into that spot. Jorge Sosa looked good too. It will probably be disappointing for him, but he's been knocked around several outings in a row now. With a little work in the minors he should be great!More Questions & Answers...
