I think they stopped making the Synergy in June of 2005. Too much pop 100 MPH. Bats are now 98 MPH or lower. The old one might not be legal in games. Depends on your league. If your not sure don't buy it. If you like Easton the Stealth is also good. As for the newer ones they come out with a new model almost every yr. Too keep you buying I guess. Usually the same.
