Will Barry Bonds define the 500-800-3000-3000 club?
Question:That's 500 SBs, 800 HRs, 3000 hits and 3000 walks. Ambitious numbers can he do it?
Some ask why Bonds is still getting pitched to. You look at his numbers this past 8 years he has more walks than hits and he hit .330 AVG during this. He has almost the same # of hits as walks career-wise and he is a .300 AVG career hitter. So is Bonds getting pitched to or not LOL

I CERTAINLY HOPE...NOT!bonds should have been put out to pasture last year, and nobody should have let him play! EVER AGAIN, well except for maybe some sandlot competitions or something like that.

Bonds will not define that club. I don't think he'll reach 800. I think after this season he may have one good season left in him. However, what is it all worth if he signs with anyone who is not a contender? Barry needs a championship and not more statistics. Really the highest opinion of Bonds is from himself. Most people outside of San Fransisco probably will not even view the milestone as legitimate and will have more respect for what Hank Aaron did.Do you think the White Sox have what it takes to win the 2007 World Series?
