Yankee fans, the Mariners didn't beat the Yankees last night, the umpires did! Am I right?
Question:The umpires always mess up calling outs but they really screwed up last night. I think it was Derek Jeter trying to get back to second. He was clearly safe and what bugs me is that the umpire was looking right at him! THE UMPIRES WON THE GAME SO DON'T BLAME THE MARINERS!

Who will win the World Series In Baseball This Year?
YES! they need to get instant replay. i dont care if it's classic that the umps make the calls based on what they see. The wrong team could win the world series just because of an umps blown call. I think they need instant replays in baseball. Wheather its to call a strike, or to call someone out. The right calls should always be made. Someone shouldnt disserve to be called out just because of one guys opinion. There are millions of people that watch baseball, and they would all be happy to see a game thats more fairWhat is it gonna take to get the Yankee fans to lay off of ARod?
The dog ate my homework, too!Quit whining. It was the Yankees who benefited from the most infamous bad umpire call in the Derek Jeter/Jeff Maier homerun
Coaching youth baseball, need tips?
Yes, the umpire did blow the call but he did admit it after the game. Point is, these things happen all the time. It doesn't mean that Rivera would not have still given up a home run in the 9th inning or that the Yankees would have won. This is why the season is162 games. The best team usually ends up winning more games than the rest of the league. Forget it. Umpires have bad days too. Anyway, the Yankees had enough men on base throughout the game. They should have driven in enough not to make the game that close to begin with. The Yankees have benefited froma number of lucky calls in their history as well, in playoff games such as the homerun that should have been called fan interferance or the play at second in 1999 against the Red Sox were Jose Offerman was called out even though Jeter was 10 feet away from him. Face it, umps are human and make bad calls but you know what the Yankees lost because they only scored 2 runs, they shouldnt have put themselves in the position to lose plus even if they dont score that run it is still a tie game 2-2. The Yankees lost because they should have scored 2 more runs, stop whining and face it you lost.
What's the big deal about Matsuzaka facing Ichiro?
they were screwedWhich MLB team was the last to win over a hundred games and not make the playoffs?
Instant replay is garbage. They review it and they still get the call wrong.Half the time with replay, they review the RIGHT call and REVERSE it to the wrong one.
The umps always screw the Yankees. It's been going on since 2001 when Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling had strike zones the size of Texas while our pitchers looked like their strike zone was the size of a shoebox.
Has anyone every heard of Diamond Sports softballs?
No to instant replay in Baseball. When it comes to that I will quit watching. The Mariner's still would have tied it Beltre homered off Rivera so who knows what actually would have happened, but your manager didn't argue didn't make too much of a point with the umpire. Posada was the only one visibly upset. Maybe the Yankees should start playing with more heart before you can blame the ump. Yes it was a bad call but you can't blame the umpire the yankees lost it themselves.
To all my baseball fans. here's an interesting question for you?
When it comes to bad calls, it's a crap shoot. You win some, you lose some. Get over it.Can the Giants trade Barry Zito to the Yankees for Alex Rodriguez?
the yankees are the sorriest team in baseballthere lineup is so stacked its unbelievable but yet they somehow find a way not to win the world series every year.
or even make it past the alds. the salary of a-rod is proly more then the whole washington nationals team put together
Can you name a former Yankee outfielder named "Tony" that played until the middle of last season?
the yankees last hope is to start paying the umps to rig the games instead of paying the players so rediculously much! i'm glad they don't win. shows you can't buy heart! john damon is a traitor:(Yes ur right, some people cant stand us Yankees *** killing
Who thinks MLB should incorporate instant replay to review calls?
As the most popular team in sports the Yankees get more breaks than anyother team in any sport. MLB profits more when the Yankees are successful thus they seem to be given every advantage possible. Please remember the A-Rod trade to Boston that was disallowed by the league office but he was magically allowed to be signed by the Yankee's. Coincidence? Not hardly!More Questions & Answers...
