How do i hit the ball really hard in a game of rounders?

when u are batting although you are using your arms to swing, you really have to think about using your legs too. to try and add power to my swing, without looking like a retard, i take a step with my front foot and i think that should help solve your problem.It's all about arms and legs. Follow the pitch as it comes into you with your eyes. Now, step into the pitch keeping your head down and eyes on the ball - (watch the bat hit the ball). Keep your hips and shoulders closed through the swing - don't 'open up' too early. Try this in a batting cage. Good luck !
