List your nightmare (as in terrible) baseball lineup.?
the best of all time has to be Ted Williams, his swing was the epitome of all around hittersand if you ask for the best active player swing, I would say it was between Griffey Jr. and Miguel Caberra
Do you want barry bonds to get the home run record? why?
Gotta be Hank Aaron with his crossed-hand technique that everyone tried to break him of. And look where he ended up!Any Atlanta braves fans out there? and if so whhat are your fav players?
Ken Griffey Jr. by far. He can strike out and still look better than other players when they hit a dinger.I am only 22 so I have not seen some of the older HOFer's play (Williams, Cobb, Mantle etc.). Of what I have seen, Ken Griffey Jr. is my favorite. It is a thing of beauty. Unfortunately he has had so many injuries lately that it has not turned into production (but when he was healthy he was amazing). Barry Bonds has a great one too, back when his knee was healthy and he was on the juice. It wasn't as smooth as Griffy's, but it was so quick to the ball which gave him that extra split second to see the ball. David Justice also had nice looking swing when he was hitting well. I'm not sure why but lefties, in general, seem to have much better looking (smooth) swings than righties. My favorite right handed swing would be Manny Ramirez's. He has excellent plate coverage and never seems to be off balance.
What kind of "Trash talk" do MLB players say to their rivals?
griffey jr for his graceful long swing. jim edmonds, garrett anderson for compact short swing (ironically they are both left handed and from angels). pujols, ichiro, arod, ted williams, mickey mantle for best hand eye coordination and swing.currently, placido polanco of the tigers. he never strikes out and is the games best pure contact hitter. of all time i'd have to say george brett. he was a great mix of power and contact. barry bonds is a close second.
What are some good baseball tickets, without paying a whole lot?
Barry BondsWhat place/service if any can...?
SWEETEST SWING! KEN GRIFFEY JR!I have an autographed team photo of the 1925 Pirates, National League Champions. What is this worth?
From what my Dad used to tell me, no one had a sweeter swing than Stan Musial. Dad was a Brroklyn Dodger fan and Musial used to rip them to shreds, especially in Ebbets Field. The Brooklyn Bums actually began to cheer Musial after a few years because they respected how well he played. Anyway, for swings, all according to what I've heard or read, Ted Williams, Joe Jackson and Joe Dimaggio had classic swings, but Musial's was the best. Of today's players, I don't think anyone can top Joe Mauer's swing. Very smooth.More Questions & Answers...
