Kerry Wood had 20 K's (including 7 straight) in a 1-hit shutout versus the Astros in the Cubs' 2-0 win on May 6, 1998.

It was his 5th major league start. The only other pitchers to have 20 K's in a game are Roger Clemens and Randy Johnson (Johnson did it in an extra inning game) so Wood's in good company.
