Question:I'm sure all of you have huge expectations from Ortiz, Howard, and Pujols. Let's say each of these guys only hit 30 homerun each this year. Would you be dissapointed?

why should i? there is more to baseball than just power! if the defense is good, and they contribute in other ways, then, no! i would not be dissapointed! unless pujols average dropped under .300!i would be.

No. Cardinals fan here. Just as long as Pujols slugs in 120 RBI's its all good. But, even if he does not. I personally will not be disappointed. He's a class act on and off the field.Go Redbirds!

I think you could be really disappointed from Ortiz and Pujols, but Howard is only in his 3rd year and went from 22 to 58 home runs.They may discover that pitching around him isn't so bad if they only have to put a man on for Pat Burrell.

As long as they still have lots of RBIs it wouldnt be too bad if their homerun production went down...Now if they hit 30 homers but only have a batting average of .200 and less than 100 RBIs...then we have a problem...Is Randy Johnson's arm slot safe for a teenage pitcher?
Well it depends, what if Ortiz hits 30 game winning home runs, I will be plenty happy with that, it is quality not quantity to me.Not if he hit over .330 with a good amount of RBI's
