todd zeile is a guy that indeed had less then average speed. however, mr. zeile did steal 17 bases one year! what's up with that? his career average is only 4 per year.

I remember watching Andres Galarraga run bases was pretty fun, especially when he was on the Giants and he'd hit one into triples alley where he knew he was gonna have to hustle. Bob Wickman's first few years as a closer with the Brewers in the late ninety's, he had i think 2 at bats? barely made it past the halfway line.Another guy with deceptive speed like you mentioned zeile is Carlos Lee I think. He's 6'2, 240lbs. and actually looks a little bit bigger, but manages to average about 11 steals over his career.
