Did anyone see the ball boy get hit in the face at the Dodgers Padres game on Sunday night?

No, its taking away people's rights, and maybe this does not effect you, but maybe the next right they decide to take away will. It goes on and on and next thing you know we will be living in a communist country.
And, to the man ahead of me, who say's yes, were trying to breath, then take away cars and all the fumes from them.

Why is that certain teams can sign superstars fans don't say anything, but if the Yankees do it they are evil?

Yes. People are trying to breathe.

Where can I see the full video of the infamous Steve Bartman? from the moment he catches the ball & afterwards

yea.. ppl pay for those seats to enjoy the game and not breathe in toxic smoke. if you have to smoke, just wait it out for the game. lots of little kids attend the game, it would only be fair to them.

Who holds the College baseball record for steals in a season and for their career?

It's their park they can do whatever they want. If you don't like it stay at home and smoke.

Will the Phillies beat their 1-6 record?

No, They should not take away peoples rights. Have a enclosed smoking area yes. People get so happy when they get smoking taken out of a establishment. Keep on doing it. Trans fat oil in NYC, The goose liver in Chicago. How about Red Meat everywhere. Obesity is the number 1 health problem. So people keep on complaining.

In baseball, if u go 0-0 does your hitting streak stay aliive?

I think it is a good thing.

Watching the Pirates is painful enough without killing yourself and those around you with a cigarette.

As far as taking away people's rights - they don't let you shoot heroin in the ball park and nobody complains. They don't let you spray dioxan on other patrons and nobody complains. So I don't see the big problem.

EDIT: The smoking ban is to comply with a new county ban against smoking in public venues. Not a Pirates decision.

What baseball player whose last name begins with e has the most career home runs?

yup

"I have added the CHi White Sox to my Scoreboard and their score is never displayed, although my others are.

I think it is fine as long as it was not mandated by some government agency. If the Pirates implemented this based upon their own decision, it is their right as a business owner. If the City of Pittsburgh decided that it was in the fans best interest, it is a terrible idea.

While I am not a smoker and love the concept of going to a game, bar, nightclub, etc., that is non-smoking, it should be the venue owners decision to allow or ban smoking.

I choose not to go places where smoking is allowed. That is my decision. If I want to go some place and it is a smoking venue, I will decide if it is worth attending the event to be surrounded by smokers. If I decide that it is, I know what I am getting in to. It is the individuals responsibility to make that decision, not the governments. If enough people quit going to games (or other events) because of the smoking, the owners would decide to ban it based upon the impact to the bottom line.

At the end of the day, it should be the owners right to choose.

Does Barry Bonds represent the USA today?

ooo - that's a tough one. Pittsburgh is one of the few cities that doesn't seem to have a mass ban on all restaurants, and you still see lots of folks there lighting up. not to mention that the city is home to a large number of senior citizens, a number of which still smoke... and, PNC Park is open air, so... technically that is outside.

St. Louis had basically a couple of smoking areas out on the concourses of the old stadium, but i think they did the total ban at the new one (haven't been to the new, in protest to getting rid of the original...). it is still an open air place, so i don't see how they can ban it completely... especially since the new St. Louis stadium is within 20 feet of a major highway overpass, and everyone that attends a game basically breathes highway exhaust the entire time they are there...

At Wirlgey Does Alfonso Soriano usally sign autographs. If yes, where? ( At the bullpen, dugout, parking lot)?

It is the healthiest thing to do, but i know alot of smokers who like baseball. it isnt such a good idea

Who won the girls softball game last night between LCU & Stanford?

It's ALWAYS a good idea.

PNC isn't the only park that's completely non-smoking. There has to be somewhere that people can go to relax for a few hours without being bothered by someone committing slow suicide and trying to take the innocent person with them.

AHHHHHH, I can breathe better already.

How do you get a mlb scoreboard on yahoo please help me, because i want one?

Way to go PNC. The only smoke in a stadium should be from fireworks.

Do you think Francisco Liriano will be dominate once again when he gets back?

Great idea. People are there with their families and kids.

How is possible that one pitcher throw a no hit no run, and any batter low yor average?

Yes, now I can actually breathe at the games! As far as taking away rights goes, it's smokers who take away nonsmokers' right to breathe. It's not just cancer and long-term damage, either: cigarette smoke makes many of us (including me) physically ill. I still don't see why it's legal for someone to smoke around me but it's not legal for me to hit a smoker in the stomach with a wiffleball bat -- the effect is pretty much the same. If you want to smoke, smoke in your own home, stop violating the rights of nonsmokers. Really, if smokers hadn't shown such disregard for the rights and health of nonsmokers, all these smoking bans would never have been necessary. Smokers have brought this on themselves with their total disregard for everyone else.

Anyway, if there's a "total" smoking ban, the Pirates themselves might be kicked out of the park, because they are really going to be smokin' this season! I see 85-90 wins and a likely division title. It's a great year for baseball in Pittsburgh!
