Win a World Series? Here is hoping.
Dodger Dog or Miller Park Brat?
If you mean try yup. and if you mean win maybe!!Did you see the triple play in the Phillie's/Reds game?
They have a good chance, I think it's either going to be Boston, Detroit or Los Angeles out of the AL this year they are all that good.Go Tigers!!!
Can anybody give me anything about Jackie Robinson other than he broke the color line in baseball?
They might. Even with this last series they're still WAY ahead of the Yankees.Who thinks the Marlins are going to make it to the play-offs this year?
Yes. In fact I think they have a good chance this year. It is very early in the season but some experts are picking them to win it all.not this year
Will the Red Sox do what again?
One thing's for sure, winning a division would be nice. And it seems they have their best chance yet of doing it this year.
What was the Cleveland Indians 2001 record?
Tank their season in August? Yes, probably. What year did they start giving out the gold glove award?
I'd like to hope so, they,ll have to work hard. What are the mechanics behind a triple in major league baseball?
fingers are crossed...I hope so!!Why does the Chicago Cubs feed work but not the White Sox feed on MyYahoo Scoreboard?
Win the World Series?? I sure hope so!! They have beat the Yankees in 2 of 3 series so far which gives them a much better chance of winning the AL east and with their pitching rotation they have a great shot at going all the way.Yeah right they going to choke it in the second half of the season! =)
Can anyone name the world series champions in 2006?
Please people it's MAY! there's still 116 games left in the season. The Red Sox have a great team this year with a deep bullpen, solid starting pitching, and bench depth. Those ingredients would lead me to believe that they are in fact serious threats to win the WS this year. However, it's only May and they've been relatively injury free (especially in the pitching dept.). I don't expect the same pattern to continue for the remainder of the season.
Now, if they win just 55% of their remaining games they'll end up with 95 wins.
Contrarily the Yankees would have to win 63% of their remaining games to finish with the same # of wins.
Bottom Line, It's too early to say yes, but they have a team that could do it.
Why it is that some of the MLB teams have the players names on the jerseys and some dont.?
They are just too good this year. The only thing that can stop them is themselves. The rotation is one of the best in baseball and if Papi & Manny are hitting, no other team matches up.They're going to lose to the Mets in the world series. Trust me.
Is the career of Mark Prior over?
Nah.Cardinals will pull it off in the end. When did mlb first investigate pete rose for gambling?
do what again?? choke with 10 game lead? win series like in 2004? just what do you mean? boston has choked with huge lead many times, dear! remember that!Finish in 3rd like last year?
If it comes down to Yankee Red Sox Series wins like two years ago than they have the Division. I love the balance of youth and experience. I am excited to see what happens post All Star game because if they are still up 9+ than we will get to see some more youth get some playing time. You know those tricky hamstrings and deep muscle bruises can pop up at any time and the DL can be shortened to a week!
Interestingly enough here is their record on May 24 for the past 5 years.
03 - 1st - 32-13 nothin' in October
04 - 1st - 27-17 World Series
05 - 2nd 25-19 Nothin' in October
06 - 1st 26-18 No October
07 - 1st 31-15 ?
Basically too early to tell. But it is nice to entertain the question.
If you have been on T.V. at a Cubs game or a MLB game, what did your sign say?
the sox have the pitching and no doubt the hitting to get to the world series. and for the guy who thinks the cards will pull it off, hes got to be from St. Louis because nobody else in the whole world thinks there gonna pull it off, there second to last in possibly the worst division in all of baseballI AGREE with "son of krypton"
if you mean about that HELL YES! theyare ging to choke yes .
and even if the yankees are beack they are going to make a huge COME BACK and make it to the #1 spot
Yes, they will do exactly what that did last year. Get a big lead and then choke. The Yankees will wave goodbye as they fly right by them.
If you mean win the Series before the Yankees win again then yes. If you mean watch the Yankees fail again, yes. If you mean sell arguably the best player ever to the Yankees, no.
