What do you think of barry bonds?
to be the winning pitcher:you must pitch at least 5 innings (if the starter) and leave with the lead, and the other team cannot tie the game up at any point after you left
OR
if a reliever, you must be pitching in a tied game or losing game, and be the current pitcher when your team takes the lead and keeps that lead.
the losing pitcher is the pitcher who gives up the number of runs that his team cannot get during the game. for example, a starter who gives up 6 runs loses the game if his team never scores 6 runs in the game. however if his team comes back after he has left and ties it up, and then loses afterwards, the pitcher who gives up those latter runs will get the loss

pitch a minumum 5 innings and be ahead when they leave the gameGet rid of 2 MLB teams and then add 2 new MLB teams?
Winning pitcher is the pitcher on the winning team that was playing when the team took the lead. If the starting pitcher left after 7 innings with a 3-1 lead, and the team held on to win, he gets the win. If he left and it was 3-3, and the team scored after he left (another pitcher had come in and recorded an out) then the 2nd pitcher would get the win. If it was 3-1 and the team blew the lead only to come back and win later, the pitcher who was in for the comeback would get the win. The losing pitcher is the one who gives up the run that puts the winning team ahead for good. a little wordy, but i hope u get it.Can the Dodgers win the world series this year?
