Does anyone know of any los angeles area senior league baseball teams?
8 - 0 indicates wins and losses.Shutout indicates throwing every pitch of a game of at least 9 innings without allowing a run to score.
With an ERA of 0.5, that would indicate that the pitcher allowed on earned run for every 18 innings pitched.
I'm adding some links about baseball stats, scoring games, etc. This includes the rulebook. (I'm not saying that you do or don't know any of this, but someone else reading this might be that new to watching baseball.)

Too bad Valenzuela couldn't keep it up. He wasn't that very good within a few years.
