The Red Sox will win the division and the Yankees win NOT go to the playoffs. Mark it down. Last year the Braves streak ended and this year the Yankees streak will come to an end. Their lack of pitching will finally catch up to them and I will laugh at all the Yankee fans.

the yankees will win the wildcard, and the red sox will win the East. I expect around 90 wins from Boston and 85 from NYY. Matsusuka is gonna be great and Kei Igawa is not nearly as good. I think that will be the differnece. They should meet in the ALCS, and that will be a great series.

the only thing that might hold us down is our defense dustin pedroia and julio lugo arent exactly my #1 picks for those two positions though lugo adds power to the lineup and pedroia embarasses the lineup (we shudve signed alex gonzalez and mark loretta again...)

the yankees will win the division, the red sox i believe will miss the playoffs...the yanks starting pitching is old, but i think mussina and pettitte have one more good season in them both and will help the rotation hold up, and their bullpen and lineup are superior to boston's...the red sox will be good, but the al is very competitive this year and i think they have enough question marks to make them the odd team out...they are going to have difficulty getting from their starting rotation to papelbon because of a weak setup corps
