Hey I just answered 1 of your QsThere are a few reason that the Twins arent doing so great right now. One of them is injuries, there best hitter Joe Mauer is on the DL right now, and Francisco Leriano (who was leading the MLB in ERA until he was injured) still hasnt gotten back yet. Also their offense has been doing terrible! Johan Santana already has a few losses even thoug he has a ton of Ks and a low ERA. They also have other problems too, like the rest of their pitching. Sidney Ponson should have been traded or dropped down to the minors a long time ago. He is killing their team. The last reason is that the Twins are in a tough division, if you're team isnt very good, its gonna be tough winning against Detroit, CWS, and Cleveland. But look at the bright side, theyre ahead of the ROYALS!

They were never right to being with. Not sure why people thought they would be good with that current pitching staff.When Liriano get's back next year things will be better.

Joe Mauer injury has little to do with it. You don't think Joe Mauer would have made a differnece in those butt kickings Cleveland put on them last week do you? And cold weather?Please-they play indoors. And if they play outdoors their opponents are dealing with the EXACT same elements.Very simple. Pitching and Central Division play. After Santana they have little starting pitching. And you can't go 0-5 vs the Central Division leader and expect to compete. The fact is, like it or not--they have the 3rd or 4th best team in the Central Division-they are not prepared or strong enough to compete with Cleveland or Detroit. Those 2 teams are powerhouses.
