ESPN Baseball Question?
Question:ESPN has listed 10 games to broadcast this month (including yesterday). Only 2 do not involve a New York team or Boston (and 6 are Yankee games!). So we all know that ESPN has a love affair with the Boston and New York, and insists in giving bad games most of the time - sorry to offend you if you think the Yankees vs. Rangers or Tampa Bay is top quality baseball!
So my question - if you are not a fan of New York or Boston - do you watch these games? I live in Chicago, and don't know anyone who watches games on ESPN because of getting these three teams shoved down our throats.

Is Barry Zito overrated? Yes or No?
The reason is because those games get the best ratings. What percentage of minor league baseball players make it to ghe major leagues?
you have a valid complaint! this week it ws the phillies and giants! who the hell cares about them?? however, i am hopeful that EVERY WEEK THEY WOULD PUT THE YANKEES, RED SOX, OR METS ON! HOW DOES THAT GRAB YOU? PLAYER? THE CUBS? Ha!! tis to laugh!! the white sox?? they have the worst looking uniforms in baseball history! who wants to watch chicago? they both stink!! go yankees, and go! mets! and go red sox!! ha! ha!I am 5'11", 125 lbs. should i get an adult medium baseball jersey, or a youth xl.?
its all about the money!! better ratings,or more viewers who watch the game means more money for espn.unfortunately thats what it is all aboutIt makes no difference to me what teams they show. I do not watch ESPN baseball broadcasts.
Who holds the single game record for the minnesota twins with rbi's in a game?
Who cares! Baseball is too boring to be watched on TV.Does Brad Lidge see Pujols every time he pitches the ball?
I don't watch those games either. I'm here in Chicago as well, and I have absolutely no interest in Yankees or Red Sox games. I think that the Mets are an interesting team to watch with Delgado, Beltran, Wright, Reyes, etc., but there are plenty of interesting teams they could put on. I'd much rather watch a young interesting team like the Indians than the Yankees or BoSox. I'm not an Indians fan, but if I am going to watch a team that I'm not a fan of, I want it to be a team that is fun to watch. Can someone rate my fantasy team and tell me what changes can be made?
As a Sox fan, I realize just how lucky I am that they have their own TV station (NESN) and every game is broadcast in HD. I never miss a game. For this reason, they usually show the alternative game on ESPN here in Connecticut.Baseball is my favorite sport, hands down, but oddly enough I can watch only the Sox games. I flip to the Yanks game only if they are losing. I just can't watch any other team without getting bored out of my mind, particularly a National League game. Cubs at Padres? God aweful.
Although I don't watch or have the same passion for football and hockey (although I still consider myself a huge and knowledgable fan), I can watch any two teams play.
Kind of bizzarre, but true.
Detroit Tigers Stadium seating question?
I watched yesterday cuz they were playing my Mariners - I don't watch much outside the M's really. I get to see all of the AL and a few of the NL that way. What does evrybody think of Phillip Hughes throwing a no hitter last night?
Nope. I'm usually at a Royals game or watching one on RSTN when ESPN is showing baseball. I get enough Yankees/Red Sox when they come to play in KC. I don't need to see it every other day on ESPN. I'm not a big fan of any team on the west coast, but I get really excited when they show a Dodgers game or an A's game because its something different.More Questions & Answers...
