Sponsorship for Softball Team? San Jose, CA?
Ill say a player hitting for the cycle. Thats about the same as a no hitter for a pitcher.Do you think th Atlanta Braves will win the world series this year?
I think something rare that happened in Baseball was like 2 nights ago. it was the Indians vs Orioles and there was a questionable call that a run scored or not. the umpire's ended up adding a run to the Orioles after 3 more innings of play. The run was considered not to count becuz they thought the third out happened before the runner crossed the plate. but in the 6th inning, the umpire's added a run to the Orioles saying that they made a bad call. I think that is just a bunch of bull and i dont think that should be allowed. Also that triple play was against my team and i saw it too. i was so mad after that happened, but i was more mad at Bob Wickman for blowing a save.
Also another rare occurance would be for the Cubs to win the World Series.
A hitting streak in the majors greater than 56 games. This has only been accomplished once by the great Joe DiMaggio.
Same old story for those poor Cubs. Are they cursed?
a 29 inning gameOnly 17 pitchers have ever thrown a perfect game (27 batters faced, 27 outs recorded)... Only once in the history of the game has a perfect game been tossed in the World Series. That honor belongs to Don Larsen of the 1956 Yankees... That has got to be one of the toughest feats in baseball, because it comes against another World Series caliber team.
Also, there have only been 14 Natural Cycles ever hit in the Major Leagues (Natural Cycle: Single, Double, Triple, Homer... in that order).
Oakland Athletics whos with me?!?!?!?!?!?
Even though there have been more perfect games they are the rareest becuase unassisted triples plays can't happen all the time because there has to be atleast 2 people on base with no outs. But at the start of every game there is 2 chances for a perfect game. so a perfect game is the rarest occurance.Yankee Haters? Please let me know...?

Where can I find batting cages near Imlay city Michigan?
The rarest occurance in baseball besides the San Francisco Giants winning a world series, would have to be a player hitting 2 grand slams in 1 game, only happening 12 times. Bill Mueller, Nomar Garciaparra, Tony Lazzeri, Jim Tabor, Rudy York, Jim Gentile, Jim Northrup, Frank Robinson, Robin Ventura, and Chris Hoiles. Robin Ventura is the only player to hit a Grand Slam in each game of a double header as well.Just for the sake of argument?
A lost No-hitter.It's only happened once Ken Johnson of the Houston Colt 45's did it on 4/23/64 losing 1-0 vs CincinnatiThe Cubs winning a World Series

Throwing a no hitter with only one arm...and only one person has achieved that...Jim Abbott. GO YANKEES! =)
Ignoring the obvious chuckle responses (Steinbrenner not spending money, a Texas Rangers world series win, etc.) and also ignoring record-breaking events (like 57+ game hitting streak or 80 HR in a season), I'd have to say that the perfect game is one of the rarest events -- especially in the playoffs.
Unassisted triple plays are pretty darn rare too.
