Isn't there a general rule in Major League Baseball on pants length?
Question:Even players from the same team don't seem to agree on the proper length, some almost riding up to the knees, some almost tripping on them...

Are the Rockies going to do good this year?
Rolling them up is the way to go... Much Sexier!Giants fans, how about MR.CAIN! Two hits after seven innings, why did they take him out?
Different strokes for different folks. Some like knickers, some like baggy pants. Baseball tends to only make rules for things that effect the game or give someone an unreasonable advantage. Pant length isn't a factor.Players have different styles, i play baseball and i preffer to have my pants hooked onto the back of my cleat. Its what the players are doing now.Id rather see them wearing them low like that than having them to the top of their ankle and tight like in the 90's.
Has there ever been an MLB pitcher who could pitch either left- or right-handed?
as long as they're wearing pants i dont think it mattersmany players like the baggy look for reasons due to style. also the ones who wear them high up started to do so to honor the negro leagues ( i think it was rollins who started this trend but i could be wrong..no i think it was ..oh god i forgot his name but he played for the expose in the early and late 90's.)
ha i remember his name.
delino deshields.. he started the high leg trend in the early 90's to honor the negro league players. at the time i remember this was a big deal and teams tried to get it stopped from happening-but eventually a lot of players even the white ones went with deshields on this and the owners (many of whom were against JACKIE ROBINSON PLAYING IN THE BIGS EVEN BACK IN THE DAYS.) had to back down. The o'malley family ironically was against this even while being owners of the dodgers. its is well known that walter o malley was a robinson hater and didn't like that he was intetraged into the bigs (before omally stole the team from rickey)
a good read about this sort of thing is robinsons auto biography titled
"i never had it made"
